Trails and Guided Walks
On all mountain walks be extremely careful in bad weather. If the cloud is low, the wind is strong or the weather is very wet or cold, it is strongly advised not to climb. Never climb alone or without proper equipment (boots, warm weather-proof clothing, food, compass, whistle, map, torch, mobile phone). Always tell someone exactly where you are going and the approximate time you expect to return. Remember at 1,000m it’s 10° colder … much wilder and wetter )
