Maurice Harrington and his wife Joan had a lucky escape last week. Normally they would have been saving turf on the bog but as luck would have it they were attending a wedding in Killarney, and thereby avoided the weekend’s landslide at Maghanknockane, Lyrecrompane.
A local golf club didn’t have such a lucky escape.
